Restrictions for Process Studio

This article describes restrictions that limit the usage of the BPMN 2.0 Modeler, Process Studio.

Limitations when modeling: 

• There is a limit to how much data can be added to any configurable component in Process Studio, such as configuration messages and script tasks. Below is an image of the error message when too much data has been added. 

Limitations when running a process instance:

• A token can only go a maximum of 1000 steps in a process.
• There is a limit of 1000 tokens within a process instance.

Note: The process instance will stop if you go above these limitations. To avoid stopping the process instance, do not create infinite loops in your process.
